I worked at United Distributors full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Learning about many beverages that come from Atlanta.

    Cons

United does not pay well enough , they expect you to stay out get the job done for a small salary sometimes 14/15 hour days. Favorites are a huge part in moving up the ladder , if your friends with the right person you'll have no problem moving up . For those that just get the job done and go home ... You will be just a peasant .
Terrible PTO , 15 years you will be able to have 3 years off. Definitely needs to be some big changes to that place . For a place I heard so highly of before I started I was nothing but disappointed

    Advice to Management

Stop playing favorites , friends out side of work shouldn't get treated better then other employees just saying ....

    Pros

Most fun job I've every worked. Out of the office talking to people all day. On your feet. Learn lots about the city in the process

    Cons

Better stay motivated. This isn't a job for people with low self control and its for lazy people. Easy to stagnate if you don't keep positive

I worked at United Distributors full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

If they like you or are a favorite of the top / senior management, then you should do well here

    Cons

Low starting pay and generally low pay overall for non sales / non management. They used to treat people fairly well until they started streamlining, cost-cutting, technology implementation and departmental restructuring about a year or two ago.uNow this place is a nightmare with glaring problems and stress galore. They don't treat their customers well either.

    Advice to Management

Get off your high horses. Pay your people what they are worth. Provide better service across the board to both your internal as well as external customers.

I worked at United Distributors full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

No good reason to work here. Prejudice is rampant at this facility if the one female supervisor doesn't care for you then your history. That's one of the "Pros"

    Cons

Favorites are played daily. Production numbers are made up so you either get your weekly bonus or you don't get anything just bacuse you don't kiss up

    Advice to Management

    Fire the whole management team
