I have been working at United Rentals full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Decent pay, benefits and no weekends.

    Cons

Feels very unstable. Promise you 50 hours a week and then will cut them to 40 with no intention to return. Does not feel like employees are valued at all.

    Advice to Management

Take care of your employees and make them feel valued.

I have been working at United Rentals full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Your contribution along with your attitude could get you anywhere depending on your dedication.

    Cons

It only affects you if you started to care too much. Only have to worry about your job description, follow what is given to you and you'll be fine.

    Advice to Management

I've seen many ups and downs but I think that is normal. But what really matters is that someone is doing their best to keep on improving because there always room for it.

I worked at United Rentals full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I enjoyed the people the most. Benefits were great, 401K match was good but you have to work a minimum of two years to get the pay out and they don't share that part with you. They put you through a training program for equipment knowledge and Rental Man training.

    Cons

Frustrating working in the call center, the programming is difficult to learn at first and you are on the phone under pressure right away with little to no training. I started in the Sales Associate program with commission opportunity, then moved into ISR role losing my commission. Long hours 7-5 (sometimes 6)
