I have been working at United Security Bancshares full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Senior Management is available to ALL employees. The President of the bank takes his own calls and provides his telephone number to anyone who asks for it. In over 25 years I've only seen the door closed on a couple of instances. They/we didn't take a dime of TARP money and with no help except for hard work. Senior Management has turned the bank around.

    Cons

Senior Management have been working extremely hard to keep the regulators happy. The Con is this bank just can't get the regulators to listen when it comes to proving the bank is on the right track and has been since the crash in 2008.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the good work. Train train train employees to be the best of the independent banks. National banks can't compete or don't even try to keep a quality work force. Community banks can and do make a difference.
