    Pros

I really liked the opportunity presented by the company. If you wanted to learn the business and grow in the company they would provide the opportunity.

    Cons

The pace and demands of the company can sometimes be a drag against the family.

I worked at United Site Services full-time

    Pros

Office activities such as casual dress up day, celebrating monthly birthdays, fun team competitions, breakfast Fridays and occasional theme parties help to keep employees motivated.

    Cons

A lot of gossip, drama, and favoritism between co-workers and upper management makes the energy of the workplace heavy and keeps the environment unprofessional.

    Pros

    Driving if you like it

    Cons

Extreme micro manager at this location in Salt Lake, he'll probably run everyone off. A lot of guys we're talking about leaving, even guys that have been here a long time.

    Advice to Management

Doesn't matter this company doesn't care about advice.

    Cons

    Overworked! Underpaid.

    Only invested in himself.

    Advice to Management

You're off site. Complexities of job not understood. Listen to drivers more not supervisor. Extreme/major traffic in areas to be serviced!!!

    Pros

Medical benefits & weekly direct deposit (but you can get those at other companies)

    Cons

It starts at the top. United gets passed on from one investment group to another. Their only goal is revenue so executive management can cash out. Operations, drivers and outside sales are treated terribly. Employees do NOT get raises, they increase your work load and sell you on making more money but the goals are not attainable. Don't waste your time here.

    Advice to Management

All of the "executive" management team should be fired along with your mid management minions.

    Pros

Somehow company continues to make money and they actually make payroll.

    Cons

Complete disaster from the top down. United's investors dump $ into company to buy other companies in an effort to create a monopoly in the area with the hope of driving out competition and driving up prices. Current companies left to rot with no capital improvements.

    Advice to Management

Stop the acquisitions and re-focus your efforts on actually taking care of the customer.

I worked at United Site Services full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Pay is decent and have some solid employees who are truly dedicated and work hard

    Cons

Upper management manages through intimidation, politics and fear. Operations manages sales which makes for a dysfunctional approach. IT systems are outdated, internal morale is horrid as employees work hard but fear the wrath of finger pointing from upper management. Pricing seldom makes sense. The goal of the company is to intimidate market through acquisition and charge outrageous market premiums while collecting incredibly high margins. Employees are stretched far too thin and the rubber band will break in time.

    Advice to Management

Look at your assets and treat them as such rather then letting people get ahead by stepping on others and through intimidation and micro management. Can only squeeze the piggy bank so hard before it breaks.

    Advice to Management

Allow a bigger budget to hire more drivers allow a bigger budget properly working equipment incentives for everyone raises etc.
