I have been working at United States Air Force Auxiliary Civil Air Patrol (Less than a year)

    Pros

The benefits are hard to beat by any private sector organization. If one gets lucky the travel is second to none.

    Cons

Having a family while being in the Air Force can be a challenge, this isn't from personal experience but from watching others. Also every location has nonsense "games" that are played in terms of whom gets to do what tasks.

    Advice to Management

Complaining about a certain topic and then taking actions to not solve the problem or make the problem worse is not an efficient way of doing business.

I have been working at United States Air Force Auxiliary Civil Air Patrol part-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

No other organization contributes more to our country and its citizens than the Civil Air Patrol. Thanks to the generous donations of members' time, talent, and sometimes money, we are supporting the USAF, training hundreds of cadets, and bringing aerospace knowledge into the schools.

    Cons

The federal and state governments are tasking the CAP with missions which they do not fully fund.

    Advice to Management

Better recognition to the troops in the trenches.
