    Pros

Learned the ways of a Congressional Office. Great to see the ins and outs of the political process and a way to get your foot in the door.

    Cons

Pay is very little for interns if you're even able to get paid at all.

    Pros

Learned a lot due to working in a large work force.
Holidays and time off were never an issue.
    Public transportation accessible.

    Cons

Long hours depending on the day.
The pace can be intense at times but not necessarily a bad thing. Better to be busy than bored at a job!
