    As a young professional working for a Member of Congress, you will get the opportunity to take on significant responsibility quickly and personally play a role in moving pieces of legislation, affecting the entire country. The opportunity to work with purpose, to believe in what you do, and affect change in a meaningful (albeit usually small) way is invaluable

    Congressional staffers are not paid well, and the employment benefits have diminished over the last 10 years.

    Great experience. everyone was very nice. Very cool to work in the Capitol.

    Unpaid. Not enough tasks. Staff members didn't connect with interns.

    Great experience working for one of the hardest working leaders. Great skill and career building experience. Amazing benefits and pension plan.
