I have been working at United Stationers full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Not a bad driving job, and you're home everyday. The benefits are also pretty good, considering how much you only have to pay

    Cons

You can never get a straight answer. You have to stay on top of management to get your answers and also, never assume anything there

    Advice to Management

Do your job and take responsibility, don't blame others.

I have been working at United Stationers full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

They are a purpose driven company which meant something to me, and still means a lot to some of their employees

    Cons

As soon as CT started, the new HR leader, the company went down hill. It stopped caring for each other and everyone had to only care about themselves. HR became a horrible place to be.

    Advice to Management

Get rid of the two top leaders within HR and hire people who not only care about the business, but care about the associates. That has been forgotten in the organization.

I have been working at United Stationers full-time

    Pros

If there were any, I'd tell you.

    Cons

Wipe out upper elite and start over. Self seeking egoists whose only concern is their pay and bonuses at the cost of hard working staff who are easily discarded.

    Advice to Management

wake up or what you have will soon be gone. You need to be humbled and realize once staff is gone, the ones you so easily discard, the company will fall and then how will you get your money, your god?

This is a great company to work for and I'd recommend it to a friend looking for a job. Need... twenty .....words .....there!
