I worked at United Technologies full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Benefits - especially tuition reimbursement. Not only do they pay 100% for any program you want (does not have to be work related) but they also provide up to 4 hours per week paid time off to go to classes! Also have orthodontia insurance for all ages - including adults, not just limited to dependents under a certain age. Very ethics focused as well. All departments are seen equally, and sites are ranked as a whole (no weak links are left unattended).

    Cons

Certain divisions are prone to huge increases and reductions in staff on a regular basis - never except a position that was newly created, they are the first to get cut... Nor any positions with a history for being repeatedly cut, as you will only last a year.
