    Divisions are large companies unto themselves
    Major projects and products coming to market
    Lean environment means opportunity for large scopes of responsibility early in career
    World class education program

    Cons

    Lean and still large makes environment hard to absorb quickly
    Very little overlap between roles

    Very stable company with great opportunities for working on a wide range of technologies. Great opportunities to move between divisions. High ethics standard and very diverse work enviroment.

    Sometimes inefficient administration. Rules and policy based.

    Many challenges and learning opportunities. The company has a bright future in both the aerospace and commercial markets. Was treated fairly well for a new hire.

    - Gained a lot from the group I worked with.
    - Coworkers were helpful and instructive.
    - Easy going and friendly atmosphere.

    Cons

    - None that I could recall, although sometimes an IT work request would take some time but, that was about it.

    I worked at United Technologies full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    The people I worked with are professional, and by that I mean not only in their knowledge and skills, but in their demeanor. They are helpful to a fault, and take the considerable time it takes to bring a new employee up to speed.

    Cons

    I have to put five words here, but there are none.

    Advice to Management

    Give everyone in Compliance a big raise!

    Some employees perceive a gap between the staff and management. Leadership is working on addressing employee needs for improved communication.
