Pros
The people who work here are great! Fun, engaging and highly competent team. All business processes and management systems are on point. Work is highly organized. Not the over organized type that slows things down. It's just well organized and everyone is aligned.
Cons
Coming from larger organizations you might feel like resources and budgets are a bit limited.

Pros
-Open communication between all levels of the company is a cornerstone of the work environment and made my onboarding experience one of the best I've had. -Open communication means that working on a team is actually collaborative. -Salary transparency and clear goal posts for advancement encourages open dialog with coworkers and management about performance and compensation. -Great benefits and 5 weeks vacation -Pilot Project hiring process provides valuable insight into how the company operates and how important communication is between team members.
Cons
-Focus on collaboration and communication means that people who prefer working alone or with minimal interaction among colleagues may not succeed in this environment. I love this aspect of the company culture, but I can see how this would not appeal to some people.

Pros
This company fosters transparency. You will truly be seen as an adult who has a role to play in the company's success. Salaries are public and known to all. Every week there is a Town Hall to talk about the objectives and the results of all the departments. Every 3 months, you will have goals to accomplish. The solutions to achieve your goals belong to you, and you will be able to move forward autonomously. The HR team is great and always available.
Cons
Like any startup, objectives are ambitious and can be stressful sometimes. You will have to make some important choices, which might be frustrating but needed.

Pros
I love working here for too many reasons to list. As a former workplace cynic who kept waiting through my first year for the other shoe to drop or the skeletons in the closet to appear, it still hasn’t happened and I’m happier in this role than any other I’ve had in my career. Lots of places talk about values and caring about staff, but those promises often fall short. But not at Unito. You can give feedback and know that it will be appreciated, expected, and valued. You’re constantly surrounded by brilliant, passionate, solutions-oriented problem solvers who will help you be your best (whether you want them to or not!) simply by virtue of their presence. The culture is contagious, the people are fantastic, hours are flexible and forgiving for parents. When my family all had covid, Unito sent me a $300 coupon for groceries. The kindness and generosity was unbelievable. They promote from within and encourage you to pursue a growth plan. Not every place is like that. Believe me! The recruitment process may seem daunting but it’s absolutely worth it. It deters the least motivated so the ones who make it through are the most driven. Be among them!
Cons
Whatever your role is, you need to be able to manage projects on your own. No one is going to do it for you all the time (unless you ask reeeeeeally nicely!). Someone once told me, everyone leaves Unito a project manager, whether they want to be one or not. It’s an incredibly valuable skill set to learn, but you’ve got to put time into it if it’s not your strength. The curse of freedom: you’re encouraged to take on projects you believe in and do what you think is best. But that means you sometimes have to deliver by yourself or ask for help. Sometimes that means negotiating with teammates and building consensus before getting to do the thing you want to do. But that’s how great societies are formed! Aka - practice your diplomacy and make friends. Startup life means sometimes you can’t do everything you want and you have to do it with fewer resources than you’d like. We have to stay agile and prioritize carefully. Adversity breeds success! I don’t know if this is a con per se, at least it isn’t one for me, but you have to embrace the culture and a team-first mentality. This is probably true of all places but I’d say especially at Unito. If you want to succeed you need to be a part of it. The amazingly talented Unito ES team will no doubt develop an overinflated ego after this review, which could also be considered a con.

Pros
I feel in great company because it is an amazing group of people (from senior management to individual contributors) and it is an amazing culture (policies, habits, and overall ambience). Work-from-home Flexibility and Salary Transparency are just two very concrete traits that speak about the company Unito wants to be, and every day you can see it making the effort to become better and more human.
Cons
I am sorry but I don't have anything negative to point at.
