    Pros

The people in this company are great and love to work hard and play hard. It's a very sales oriented company with a lot to offer its employees. Resources are endless. Growth is very realistic unlike other corporations that limit the opportunity for one to grow.

    Cons

Communication could be better between departments.Training could also use some work.

    Advice to Management

Improve training and improve standards of communication between employees.

I have been working at Universal Forest Products

    Pros

    Pay and benefits are good

    Cons

Try to promote employees who are not ready for it. Keeps people around based on their time with company regardless of their education and competancy.

    Advice to Management

Just because a person hasn't been with the company very long, doesn't mean they don't have what it takes to make some good things happen. Stop trying to keep old-hatters around based on time-vested. Bring in new blood and see what they got.
