    Pros

    Terrific management
    Top notch training
Great group of guys to work with
The benefits were fantastic. Company phone, car, and laptop to name a few.
Seemed to be tons of room for growth as well as the tendency to promote from within.

    Cons

I wouldn’t say their were any cons to working here.

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the good work.

I worked at Universal Forest Products full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Competitive pay and safety oriented. Offers as many hours as you can work. Great benefits package and insurance. Very easy work just laborious.

    Cons

Poor management communication. Working in outside in the elements, if it rained the place would flood with water up to your knees almost and you had to stay working.

    Advice to Management

Management needs to communicate better with their employees and actually listen to the things that would make the work environment a better place.

I have been working at Universal Forest Products full-time

    Pros

    Paid time off, nice coworkers

    Cons

If you arent spanish speaking you will be treated differently. Some coworkers steal and management doesnt help at all.

    Advice to Management

Maybe the company would keep employees and raise production if they treated the workers better and didnt work them to the bone.

    Pros

Great people to work with, really good knowledgeable managers who help their employees, decent health benefits, and easy going atmosphere.

    Cons

Pay could be better especially for the general laborers, long hours expect to work at least 60hrs a week and Saturdays during the busy season, high turnover rate.

    Advice to Management

General laborers should make more for the amount of physical work they do.
