I have been working at Universal Funding full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Universal is a great place to work. The environment is very happy and calm. All the employees and management get a long very well together. Communication is effortless and the integrity here top notch. The hours are wonderful; 7:30am-3:30pm allowing you to live your life outside of work, the benefits we get are great and are low cost to the employee, and we get a fully stocked kitchen everyday with paid catered lunch on Fridays. Hard to not want to work for a company that gives all of that to you because they value their employees.

    Cons

    None at this time.

    Pros

Universal is a family oriented company, that fosters genuine personal and business relationships with it's employees and clients. Weekly hours are M-F 7:30am - 3:30pm, which gives employees extra time to enjoy their personal lives outside of work. Breakfast and lunch are provided daily, and every Friday there is catered lunch from a new local restaurant.

    Cons

There is a shared office bathroom with other businesses in the building.

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the good work!

    Pros

I've been working at Universal for roughly 10 years and hope to be here another 10 years. They provide great working hours 7:30 - 3:30 as well as paid vacations, simple IRA match program, full benefits, annual Christmas parties etc. The office and building have to be one of the nicest in the Spokane metropolitan area.

    Cons

I never take my vacation because I enjoy being at work

    Pros

The hours afford a great work-life balance. Getting off at 3:30 allows for more family time and being able to attend after-school activities with your family. Lunch is catered at least once a week, and the kitchen is stocked with food for breakfast and lunch. The work is challenging, but not overwhelming and the team you work with are good people.

    Cons

You will gain 10+ lbs in a matter of months.

I worked at Universal Funding full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Working hours are good. Office space is attractive.

    Cons

Customers are treated like dirt. Employees are treated even worse. If you aren't family, you are replaceable. It was a running joke - who will get fired next? This company hires/fires without reason. Communication is non-existent. Employees who have been there for YEARS still wonder if they will have a job tomorrow.

    Advice to Management

No advice to management. This company is beyond repair and management is directly at fault.
