      Pros

the work is very easy as long as you show up for work you is ok

      Cons

there is not paid off time so if a love one get sick old well if you are having a baby old well there is no vacation at this job you will be working all year round. It dont matter how long you work and dont miss a day they dont want you to take off but if you do that your check will show it. no pay raise at all so if you just need to get started doing security great starting place but not a place to stay for a long time

      Pros

Easy to learn the site , no stress, some guards are easy to work with, some of the clients are friendly .

      Cons

less pay , benefits are to little or none, to much guards in one site or to little, no pay vacations, no sick days, storm pay is very little, no communications between guard and supervisors, pay raises are silly and learning new things are outdated.

      Pros

You get to know the local police officers very well.

      Cons

Shift hours are terrible Very little family time Huge turnover rate, so you're almost always short officers Very low pay Virtually no opportunities for advancement. I was a Field Training Officer but along with the extra training and responsibilities I had, I only received an unofficial title change, no pay increase at all. Annual 15 cent (Yes, that's in cents) pay raise is always months late.

      Pros

None. Read cons. This is real.

      Cons

What a joke company. They try to cheat on your paychecks. If you work a certain post, make sure you get that pay. For example, I worked a post that pays $13/hr. They paid 10.50/hr my first 40 hours. They said I was training so thats the pay. Okay? I only trained for 2 days. Thats 16 hours. So shouldnt that be 16 hours of 10.50/hr, then 24 hours of $13/hr? Sometimes they will call you to come early/stay late for some soecial occasions. Yeah they forget to pay you for that too. I stayed over 4 hours. Didnt get paid. You cant leave unless someone comes to relieve you. Guards are allowed to come 15 min late. So you dont get paid for that 15 min overtime waiting everyday for that inconsiderate guard. If you leave you "abandon post". I am not the only one with this experience. Numerous guards with the same situation. Overtime, no pay. Worked extra hours, no pay. This is not a good stepping stone to become a police officer. Not really a true security company. A security officer's role is to protect life and property. This company's role is to not get involved with anything, just observe and report. The reason is if you get hurt, they are not going to cover you. So if some girl was getting raped or getting beat up by her boyfriend, you cant get involved. Someone calls to complain about loud music, you cant get involved. Someone calls about a skater skating on sidewalk, you cant get involved. All you say to them is please call the cops. What is the point of security then?
