I have been working at Universal Trailer Corporation full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Hours are very good. Stable income. Holiday and Vacation Pay. Medical, Dental and Vision benefits. 401K match by 33 percent. Several other benefits to include short term disability and life insurance.

    Cons

Production Manager; Lack of support from supervisors. Expected to know job quickly without much training. Very fast pace, high stress job for manufacturing. Overtime routinely required. Not much room for advancement.

    Advice to Management

Some supervisors need to be evaluated as to whether fit for the job; environment is very conducive for the "good ole boy" network. Employee turnover is very high. Routine drug screen of employees.

I have been working at Universal Trailer Corporation full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Job training, great fellow employees to work with. When not working overtime the daily shift is great hours to work leaving a considerable amount of the day to be enjoyed once leaving work.

    Cons

Underpaid, poor communication resulting in a lack of respect for each individual employee leading a private life outside of the work place. No annual employee reviews resulting in no pay raises that would normally occur on an annual basis

    Advice to Management

The employer/employee is a significant human relationship of mutual dependency that has great impact on all the people involved and both have moral obligations arising from the relationship
