I have been working at UniversalPegasus International full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

I have worked for UniversalPegasus many years, and have been given many opportunities to grow and learn throughout my career. Additionally, I am thankful for the encouragement and opportunity to obtain several important certifications in my field (the company paid for). I have been given the tools I need to succeed in my career, and receive a very competitive salary in the industry.
One of the biggest strengths of our company is the ability of Jr. Engineers who work hard grow from entry level to PM or management positions. I have seen it happen over and over again. As a rule people are not pigeonhold.
Sure, there have been ups and downs in the industry, and it has been tough. But we are on the upswing now and I am excited about our future!

    Cons

Benefits, but everyone is hopeful this will improve soon with the upturn in business

    Advice to Management

Continue the good work, stay focused, always remember the worker bees!

I have been working at UniversalPegasus International full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Overall a positive work life balance. Some stressful times, but that keeps you charged. Good people to work with.

    Cons

Can sometimes be so process oriented it can make the company appear inflexible and unresponsive. The past few years have been full of changes, and that may be unsettling. Utilization scrutinization can be very demanding, but it is understandable.

    Advice to Management

Involve more employees in strategic planning and get their feedback and ownership of the overall plan.

Pay is good, Benefits are decent although they have been better in the past, opportunity for growth in the company is there, and the company has great culture of giving recognition to employees that go above and beyond duties or expectations.

    Cons

There is always something about a company you could find that you do not like, but I choose to overlook the minor issues I have found.

    Advice to Management

Continue to seek out growth opportunities, and continue to give local management the flexibility needed to make that office a success.
