I worked at University College London (Less than a year)

    Pros

Wonderful people to work with, and very understanding of the student schedule. I enjoyed learning about curation from members of my department.

    Cons

I felt that a lot of my tasks were busy work in the beginning of the internship and would have preferred more responsibility to initiate tasks.

    Pros

Very supportive working environment. We work hard but have lots of fun and the culture is great. Flaxiable with time management.

    Cons

I have good time working in UCL, just think it would be great to have more support for the funding for international conferences.

    Positive Outlook
    Approves of CEO

I have been working at University College London full-time

    Pros

Great academic environment with plenty of scope to achieve your ambitions. Usually involved in some of the latest research on the planet.

    Cons

None so far. I have found that the job is what you make of it - if your ambitious and want to try new things it can usually be accommodated. Equally if you just want a 9-5 job this is OK too.

    Advice to Management

I would say that the professional technician staff should get more reward, in terms of recognition, for their support of the academic staff.
