    Pros

    This is a high integrity company which starts from the top. If you want to work in an environment that cares about it's members this is a great place. Strong benefits, with lots of internal growth opportunities.

    Cons

    Different departments have different reputations and cultures. Depending on which department you are in, it may affect your job satisfaction.

    Advice to Management

    Don't let industry changes effect the culture or vision of certain departments.

    Pros

    Company gives time off for volunteer work.

    Cons

    You are supposed to do what is best for the members but that is compromised when you asked to not place certain members with certain insurance carriers.

    Advice to Management

    Improve daily business practice to hold closer to the objectives of a credit union placing the member's interests first.

    Great benefits and company mission.

    Cons

    Clueless senior IT management. Strict dress code. The middle IT managers are just clueless and demoralizing. The senior IT management seem to encourage it.

    Advice to Management

    Either stop the current IT management from abusing employees or get new management that will treat the employees better and actually provide leadership.

    Pros

    UFCU offers the bet benefits in the industry with competitive pay. Executive team live by their mission statement and do truly amazing things for the community. work/life balance is a priority and they make it easy to take time off.

    Cons

    The opportunity for growth isn't as great as they make it seem. Communication with in the company isn't the greatest and sometimes lacking.

    Transparency and communication are important for all team emmbers

    I was interning over the Summer with them and loved every second of it! Got to help out with recruitments at different colleges! I learned a ton! Everyone there is so friendly and helpful too!

    There were no cons.. Very well friendly place to work at!

    The hours were perfect for me, 9:00am to 6:00pm

    Cons

    management was horrible, and so was the Human Resource Dept.
