      Coworkers tried to stick together since Management was rude & unpleasant.

      Cons

      Everything, mice running around the hospital like they are part of the staff & Management found it humorous!!

      Learn not to play politics with employees & be their professional mentor instead!

      Pros

      Benefits are second to none and time off accrual is great.

      Cons

      Management or at least lack of effective management. Compensation should be better for work (work load) performed. Management just doesn’t get it.

      Value your employees who are worth valuing and compensate them for their talents and skills.

      State Hospital. Level 1 Trauma. Union Protection. Everyone is in a Union (even management)

      Cons

      Union Dues. Expensive Health Insurance. Probation is 6 months and 3 months transferring between titles/ positions. Everyone is in a Union (even management). Overtime needs to be approved but will not given freely.

      Advice to Management

      If you want to look good to your boss, make your employees feel great.

        Pros

        Great place to exercise all the ophthalmic disciplines including trauma and neuro.

        Cons

        No place to grow... all I did was tech... no imagine or minor sx.
