I worked at University Hospitals Bedford Medical Center full-time (More than 5 years)
Majority of staff appeared to put patient experience first. Long relationship with the community and linking up with University Hospitals was a good move financially for the most part. .
Some of the department managers did not have effective skills related to retention of staff. Some physicians were not very willing to recognize how the way they practiced could have a negative impact on the organization.
Advice to Management
Hold managers accountable and perhaps they in turn will do the same for with staff.
