    Community Health Education

    Pros

It's very rewarding experience to be able to give back to the community by providing health care services to vulnerable populations. They are flexible for student workers.

    Cons

Different schedule every week so there is not a consistent schedule

    Is Arizona university for you

    Sep 28, 2022 - Detective

    Pros

Students find that the weather in Tucson is beautiful. During the entire school year, it is not too hot or cold like in other states. The campus is also very beautiful, with palm trees and a lot of greens. Students will find it easy to be involved on campus as there are many sororities, fraternities, and clubs to be a part of. The food options on campus are great, and your CatCard can be used to pay for food at restaurants around the campus. Students are not limited to cafeteria food. The school spirit is strong, making this university a good option if you are looking for that. A con would be the exclusivity in some parties on campus. It may be hard to get into certain parties if one is not part of Greek life or does not know anyone from a fraternity to help them get in. Another con would be the safety in Tucson. The campus is pretty safe and is making a lot of strides to keep its students safe, but the city itself can feel pretty sketchy at times. Let’s get to know the University of Arizona in detail.

    Cons

otal cost (including all school and living expenses) is $6,869 more than the national average for in-state students and $10,014 more than the national average for out-of-state students at 4-year, public schools. Graduation rate is 4 percentage points lower than the national average.

Good place to work and go back to school

Dec 6, 2022 - Research Program Administrator II in Tucson, AZ
    Recommend
    CEO Approval
    Business Outlook

    Pros

The tuition discount, if you/spouse/dependents are planning to go back to school, is great! Most departments are flexible and will allow you to attend classes around your work schedule.

    Cons

The pay isn't that competitive. There is a lot of red tape/politics to wade through.
