I worked at University of Arkansas at Little Rock full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Holidays and paid time off is bar-none for non-classified employees.

    Cons

Everything else aside from time-off. No, but seriously. Everything else.

    Advice to Management

Please get out of the bubble you live in and realize how low the morale of employees (all levels) is and how misled the students are. Also, it is helpful if the group over Academic Affairs is actually aware of program options, and aware of the differences in majors, programs, courses of study, etc. It is appalling to know how the administration runs things behind the scenes. Find another instituton to ruin, perhaps...

    Positive Outlook

I worked at University of Arkansas at Little Rock full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Lots of opportunities to publish papers and to gain teaching and research experience. Helpful teachers and researchers across the campus if you are running a collaborative research. Available funds for publishing conference papers up to $500 each semester on a first come first serve basis.

    Cons

Registration times are always stressful, employee handbook keeps changing constantly, it is hard to follow and not very easy to understand the decisions. The upper management can be considered as greedy but if you are contacting the right person they are always willing to help.
