    Pros

I implement video applications into the current environments to improve performance, business and productivity. With the proper integration and facilitation companies can improve productivity.

    Cons

Bandwidth, capabilities and adaptation. Without any of the necessary technologies implemented successfully, there is a small likelihood that these institutions will see progress, or accomplish the goals they would like to see for increasing the success of their institution.

    Advice to Management

Video is an integral part of every day life and the information that can be made available for video conferencing, video on demand, and live conferences can contribute to the advancement of education.

I have been working at University of California Berkeley full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

great colleagues, great city, great weather--the best intellectual community that I can imagine. I only hope that its alumni/ae and the state of California will continue to support it so that Berkeley can be Berkeley.

    Cons

Bureaucracy. An administrative apparatus that seems to have people at its head who care little about making it efficient and effective, and who have little sense of what strategic direction they could provide. But that doesn't matter very much given that the organization is highly functional--at least not yet.

    Advice to Management

    (1) Spend serious time focusing on attaining administrative efficiency. (2) Choose a strategic plan for Berkeley's future, and execute it...
