I have been working at University of California part-time for more than a year

    Pros

The pay is nice, and the ratio of staff to patients is about normal, some days are harder than others, but usually not so bad.

    Cons

Not many downsides of working at UCLA besides the fact that their HR is horribly slow

I have been working at University of California full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Great healthcare benefits. Good environment if you are comfortable and thrive in a mediocre work environment and you're OK with being in the same position perpetually with a comfy retirement pension at the end of service.

    Cons

Stagnant work environment. Very low pay in comparison with the CA cost of living. Few opportunities for professional development. Mediocre and incapable managers and supervisors. State politics permeate every activity from the top-down, to the point of hampering day-to-day operations (look up prevailing wage laws in CA). Everything is S-L-O-W. Obligated SJW working conditions and forced propaganda. Innovations have to be arbitrarily 'blessed' by your superiors in order for them to advance.
