Booth School of Business: Just Don't.

Oct 21, 2022 - Technical Support Analyst in Chicago, IL

    Pros

The campus is beautiful, with lots of restaurants in the area.

    Cons

There is a horrific disregard for Booth employees. Regularly violates Americans with Disabilities Act provisions. HR was absolutely useless in mediating issues related to poor management. Exploits vulnerable employees--at that point in my career I was not good at advocating for myself or standing up to abusive colleagues, and so I was bullied into accepting extra "grunt work", even in my off hours. Management was abusive, and colleagues used that as their model. Any suggestions I made were treated in one of two ways: either they were mocked and discarded, or accepted and the credit for the idea stolen by others. I consider the 3 years I spent here as the absolute nadir of my career trajectory, and I would advise anyone considering a position here to flee the vicinity and never look back.
