I have been working at University of Cincinnati full-time

    Pros

Great benefits, including tuition remission. It’s also located with in a great neighborhood and really close to downtown .

    Cons

There is no space on campus for professional staff to work. They do not value folks below the director level having a door for privacy. Their model cars for all assistant directors and lower is to work with in cubicles. The pay is also significantly lower compared to similar positions with in the state of Ohio.

    Advice to Management

Many of the student affairs director’s are comprised of individuals who attended undergraduate and graduate school at the University. Therefore, those folks will be there for a little while. This does not allow for much advancement from within .
