    Pros

Sense of pride, beautiful campus, growth opportunities. It is a very, very big campus, but almost each department is small enough to not get overwhelmed with everything. You will be surprised with how many faces you recognize just walking around the quads or on the hill.

    Cons

Its pretty hard to get in, but it is worth it once you do. Also, changing departments can be very hard.
The housing prices are very high close to the campus, so plan on a bit of a commute. And you'll want to learn the bus system quickly because parking at CU is terrible, absolutely terrible.

    Advice to Management

I seriously dislike Benson. For such a "liberal" place, CU, and even boulder, are extremely not progressive.

    Pros

You are in Boulder, one of the most beautiful cities in the US. University of Colorado has a great reputation and I'm proud to work here. Boulder also has a fantastic infrastructure for fitness and athletics.

    Cons

With any large employer, and especially at a university, there is quite a bit of beauracracy and red tape to get anything done.

    Advice to Management

Senior management has to go through quite a bit of meetings, but thing are fairly transparent.

    Pros

This is a great place to work if you are a student. Of course they work around your school schedule and I could do my homework as I worked.

    Cons

You cannot continue working there after you graduate. The pay was just alright but since you could get homework done on the job it was worth it.

    Advice to Management

My direct supervisors were awesome and should continue supporting the student employees like they do. However, the more senior management needs to take advice from student employees a little better.
