    I have been working at University of Dayton full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    1. Tuition remission is by far the best benefit of working at UD.

    2. Down to earth and smart coworkers.

    3. One of the few employers that offer entry-level software engineering jobs in Dayton. I had the opportunity to learn software engineering best practices and techniques from skilled Senior Devs.

    4. Consultation work is a great way to gain experience working with many different languages, people, and technologies.

    5. Software Systems Group is laid back and there is low pressure.

    6. Possible to work remotely

    7. 15 paid holidays. Vacation and sick leave time is generous.

    8. Family-like atmosphere

    9. Great place to network and meet other people.

    Cons

    1. Compensation is lower than comparable jobs in Dayton, Cincinnati and/or Columbus.

    Very nice environment, nice people, students are respectful, good benefits.

    Cons

    As a woman, it's not conducive to upward mobility. Pay is not great.

    Pros

    Benefit package is great, tuition remission for family and health care, retirement and job stability. Nice place to work for second income for family.

    Cons

    Salary is lower than non-institutional companies and hours required are weekends and some holidays in food service. Long breaks between Christmas and New Year is good unless you are non-exempt.

    Pros

    I gain a lot of experience related to infectious diseases like TB HIV/AIDS and also I have knowledge about transition and signs of Malaria. and Malarial Laboratory and quality assurance. And how to manage workload.

    Cons

    there is no cons related to the profession but salary is not sufficient regard to living standards of the country( Ethiopia)

    Staff cares about impact on students. They know they make a difference. Campus culture is on of caring about others, coworkers, student

    Would like to see more diverse in terms of social economic students from this area versus international students. Work to make tuition more affordable.

    Listen to those that have been employed for 15 plus years. They understand the culture that others are trying to keep intact.

    Professors are very nice in UD. I have learned much knowledge while being a graduate assistant.

    Cons

    There is no cons for me to review since I am still a student here. I enjoy to work on campus.

    Advice to Management

    There is no actual advises to management but if more benefits, the life would be easier for the students.
