    Pros

This is a place where the initiative flows from the bottom up. You are who you make yourself to be. On the research side, you identify funding opportunities, advocate for your ideas with a sponsor, secure the funding, execute the work, grow in responsibility and professional fulfillment. You are surrounded by very competent, eager to help co-workers. The work atmosphere is very amiable. People are focused on the end goal - satisfying the customer, while advancing themselves professionally. Team spirit reigns. One can say, the place has a family atmosphere.

    Cons

Performing sponsored research requires a client orientation, and the client is always right. So, if you are not cut out for this type of atmosphere, you may want to choose a different type of employer.

    Advice to Management

I wish you contninued success in growing and achieving new milestones. You are the only true research institution in the area full of beltway bandits and unscrupulous, bottom-feeding lowest bidders,

I have been working at University of Dayton full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The university offers courses in every discipline and has almost any extracurricular activity that a student could want. The university prides itself on rigorous academic programs and is extremely inclusive with a very friendly culture.

    Cons

The only downside is the recognition that university students receive from prospective employers because the school is so small. However, even this is not a con because the University of Dayton alumni base is expanding all over the world.
