    Pros

The University controlled Central Placement Cell under DSW is a unique and unparallel example as how a university cares for its students from admissions to career building. The cultural activities in affiliated colleges contribute towards over all development of its students

    Cons

Some added research facilities at higher level can further add to the quality of education in this esteemed central University

    Advice to Management

Keep going and help lesser known colleges to develop additional infra structure to match with so called better colleges

    Pros

Security of work if you get a permanent job, highly codified and stable provisions for leaves and payment etc.
The reputation of the university attracts some of the best students and scholars.

    Cons

The university of Delhi is not a single campus institution, which means that some departments are very good while others aren't. Thus, don't just go for the reputation of the university but be mindful of the kind of work culture each individual department offers.

    Advice to Management

Needs to be more decentralised and democratic.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Negative Outlook
    No opinion of CEO

I have been working at University of Delhi full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Delhi Univesity at one time had great teachers and equally good students. And even infrastructure was good.

    Cons

In the last few years, repeated syllabus change without any consultation with industry. Increasing student strength without increasing number of Teachers and the denial of promotion and permanent service to 50% of Teaching fraternity has created a complete chaos.

    Advice to Management

Teachers should be encouraged to do research by providing incentives for research. The excessive red tapism should be reduced.
Student marks should not be vertically upgraded. And lastly students should get fair deal both in terms of syllabus and teachers.
