    Cons

Really far north and the weather quite bad but looks lovely on a sunny day

I worked at University of Durham full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Department has excellent teaching, wide range of modules to consider taking particularly in last couple of years. The city is great albeit perhaps a bit small for some peoples liking.

    Cons

Easy to take on too many extra curricular responsibilities and end up bogged down with a heavy workload on top - admittedly this was not a problem with Durham Uni and more my own enthusiasm.

    Advice to Management

Keep going with what you're doing, collegiate system is wonderful and the teaching is really great. A brilliant 4 years spent.

  6. "Excellent organisation to be part of! I was there 7 years and wouldn't have changed any of my time there!"

I worked at University of Durham full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Holiday, support, progression, training, people and salary is second to none. A great environment with people who are all working towards the same goals. Everyone is so friendly and there is something different every day!

    Cons

Very little in the way of cons! In fact I can't think of one! The organisation need to keep doing it exactly the way they currently are.

I worked at University of Durham (Less than a year)

    Pros

high pay, great satisfaction gained from answering questions from students and parents, don't need to spend even a quid, lunch provided

    Cons

exhausting, hardly no break, need to get up early to help the setup of the venue. I worked from 7am to 5pm.

    Advice to Management

good, but could check the venue more carefully, and provide more shuttle buses. I encountered a lot of people waiting for buses or couldn't find the parking place.

I worked at University of Durham as an intern

    Pros

Hands on experience and gaining knowledge of biomedical theory and learning how to operate new machines and techniques

    Cons

internship needed more organisation and supervision, sometimes was left to figure things out on my own so it was not the most efficient

    Advice to Management

more time spent on planning and preparing resources to help interns get more out of the experience
