I worked at University of Houston-Clear Lake full-time for more than 6 years

      Pros

Flexible with your schedule. Interaction with students. Some really great people work there.

      Cons

Pay isn't that great. Maybe average at best. Inter-office politics. Parking is horrible (Sorry H, but the parking situation ain't the best) Management does not effectively communicate with employees, nor does it feel like they value their employees.

      Advice to Management

You need to communicate with your employees better A simple check in does wonders. Build your offices like a team rather than a competition on who can do better.
