I have been working at University of Maryland, Baltimore full-time

      Pros

      Large organization with many departments

          Positive Outlook

I have been working at University of Maryland, Baltimore full-time for more than 6 years

          Pros

The people are mostly professional, the work is ever changing (different equipment needing repair), the state benefits are nice, it is familiar and I am good at my job.

          Cons

The job can be political, people advanced not necessarily based on ability but how well they talk to management.

          Advice to Management

Invest in the future, not only in terms of training for your existing employees, but also look at the infrastructure and projected campus expansion. Think big, but small acts are deeply appreciated and noticed.
