I have been working at University of Maryland part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great health/dental ins from the State of Maryland, TAship pays for tuition plus more than enough to live on, while not taking up anywhere close to the "20 hours" they say you work.

    Cons

Class sizes have grown so large that it is much harder to give individualized attention, and the students likely suffer.
