    I have been working at University of Massachusetts full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Most people are awesome. IT group is the best. Decent perks.
    Plenty of vacation time and personal time. Friendship bonds are strong amount the community.

    Cons

    Some people are the bane for the rest the campus. Talent is not considered. Experience outranks everything. Your ideas matter but are not considered most of the time. People in high positions do not value your opinion and sometimes their policies are stupid.

    Advice to Management

    Need to really get rid of bad people

    Pros

    Great work environment. Excellent leadership and a great team. The work load was sizeable but manageable.

    Cons

    Team had a lot of trouble coming together and agreeing leading to a lot of delays.
