I worked at University of Massachusetts part-time

    Pros

Fun Environment with great people. Good student job. Flexible schedule, and you can form relationships with people that can turn transportation into a career.

    Cons

None. Loved working here, perfect student job. Lots of different qualifications. I wouldn't do anything differently. Good leadership from the management.

    Advice to Management

Management has already taken my advice and increased salaries for bus drivers. It is once again the highest paid student job on campus.

I have been working at University of Massachusetts full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great experience, great people, challenging, high-energy, dedicated to public service, great benefits

    Cons

Challenging culture, lack of diversity in the workforce, Limited upward mobility, antiquated management, VERY bureaucratic

    Advice to Management

Management would be much better off if they were to innovate more, be more inclusive in decision-making, and work harder to retain talented staff by promoting from within. Respond to the tightness in the labor market.
