    The work we do at the Brain Bank is incredible and will lead to so many amazing discoveries that will eventually prevent, slow, or cure various neurological diseases.

    Employees are not happy

    Advice to Management

    Avoid yelling at employees or public humiliation. It will reduce the sentiment of fear, anger, and resentment towards members of authority within the company.

    Pros

    The people at the hospital are friendly and welcoming. Staff are well qualified and there are endless opportunities to learn and grow, especially with its locarion to Jackson Hospital and the VA. Many new restaurants were added that provides good food choices, even the cafeteria is awesome.

    Cons

    Language barrier can be difficult with patient care at times if you do not speak Spanish, bit there is always someone to translate.

    Advice to Management

    No specific advice. I was a non-paid extern and my training there was priceless!

    Pros

    Coral Gables campus is pretty. Many of the students are a pleasure to work with. Health insurance. Depending on your job, you don't have to work late regularly which is a positive since you don't get paid well.

    Cons

    Salary. Limited upward mobility. Politics.
