    Pros

Supervisors really care about their employees, they once bought me my favorite candy because they knew I was having a terrible day. They embraced constructive criticism and often expected helpful feedback during team meetings. Employer was willing to work with my schedule and made hours flexible.

    Cons

Honestly, not many complaints. Maybe having more options to grow into higher positions.

    Pros

Great work environment. Coworkers were incredibly nice and the work was never high stress. Flexible schedule for students if you need more time to study or work on homework.

    Cons

Because the work was so low-stress, it sometimes was boring if there wasn't much to do or if a project you're working on isn't time sensitive.

    Pros

You can pretty much work your schedule around your classes and you can study while at work. Pays great for a student job and for the amount of work you have to do.

    Cons

There isn't any room for advancement and you will not get any raises.

I have worked part-time in a student position at UMN for the last year and a half.

    Pros

Student jobs are extremely understanding of how often students' schedules change. They request availability for each semester knowing that it changes and understand that your schedule will be completely different during finals week. It was also relatively easy to request time-off.

    Cons

For my job, pay could be better but it's not terrible. Overall, I'm happy and can't think of any major complaints.
