    The University of Nebraska is a great place to work. People are very friendly and willing to help.

    Cons

    I do not find Cons for not to working at the University of Nebraska. The city is wonderful, very diverse and friendly. I do really recommend the University of Nebraska

    I worked at University of Nebraska–Lincoln part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    I had freedom and I was able to get most of the research I was working with. I was also living on campus so it was really good not having to worry about parking.

    Cons

    There is no downsides that could be a problem.

    I'm studying my PhD here and working as a Teaching Assistant to get paid for my education and living expenses.

    Cons

    cannot think of cons here at UNL. I'm just looking for internship positions in Summer to enhance my industry experiences.

    The bureaucracy slows things to a halt and the conceit of the faculty benefits no one.

    Great benefits; Healthcare, retirement, tuition reimbursement for employee and family.

    Cons

    Bad IT environment. Working for a University will sabotage your IT career. Below market wages and unprofessional.
