I have been working at University of Nevada School of Medicine full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Affordable health insurance, retirement plan, up to 12 free college credits per academic year. Stable. Room and opportunities for growth. I love this job. Positive culture overall. Paid holidays, vacation, sick leave.

    Cons

I can't think of many cons to working for the School of Medicine. It would be nice to have more educational benefits (I.e if they pay for books). The SOM Human Resources department is notoriously unorganized and has high turnover.

    Advice to Management

Organizing the Human Resources and Budget and Finances offices would be beneficial to all. They seem disorganized with high turnover. Great culture and leadership overall.
