    Pros

great place to live and work. Great people to know and work with.

    Cons

Management is committed to bringing down the place. enrollment is down means less income but the only thing that keeps expanding is management and their admin staff. HR is useless.

The Worst Place I've Ever Worked

Jun 16, 2022 - Administrative in Fredericton, NB

    Pros

    The campus is very pretty.

    Cons

Tons of ambient sexism and racism floating free in the atmosphere. Faculty treat support staff like peons. Teacher's salaries are sort of in-line with the rest of Canada but staff salaries absolutely are not. No performance reviews, so staff get past their 6 month probation and then settle down to wait for retirement. And here's the biggest problem: THERE IS ZERO ACCOUNTABILITY. Employee abuse goes on for years and no one does anything about it. Anyone who doesn't like the content of an email you sent them just ignores it. This is the most dysfunctional place I've ever worked. Very unprofessional and very cliquey. Jobs are given to friends and family without even posting them. And do not apply here if you're a member of an equity deserving group. They pay lip service to the idea of EDI - because they see other schools doing it - but they don't do anything meaningful about it, and many administrators and advisors to the President are actively scornful of EDI initiatives and do whatever they can to block their advancement.
