    Great, friendly staff that does a great job guiding students through daily responsibilities.

    Not always enough work, it might be more productive if students are allowed to do homework on the job.

    As a graduate student, the University offers incredible benefits, a living wage, and a great working environment.

    Cons

    These benefits are often constant across departments; however, the working environment can be different depending on your graduate supervisor.

    - My boss works around my class schedule, allowing me time to study and live my life beyond the classroom and office.
    - The staff is incredibly friendly and invested in the futures of their employees.
    - Guaranteed to have weekends off as well as any holiday observed by the University of Oregon.

    - May require working during periods of time where students are not present on campus, including summer, winter, and fall

    - Maintain the constructive environment you currently have.
    - Be diligent with providing performance reviews to student employees at the end of every term.

    - Fully waived tuition (this is more valuable than the salary itself)

    - Flexible hours

    - Lots of freedom

    Cons

    - Contracts change every three months and there's no guarantee you'll be able to keep your position.

    Pros

    It's challenging, but fun work. Also, it's not bleeding edge, but relatively new technologies are being used. Coworkers are very friendly and it's a very relaxed office.

    Cons

    Bland office and parking sucks.
