I worked at University of Phoenix full-time

    Pros

Paid time off to volunteer twice a year; generous tuition assistance/discount program; no micromanagement (at least at my school); great collaboration.

    Cons

Really none, but my layoff was completely unanticipated.

    Advice to Management

Need to keep more underlings and fewer analysts. Nothing to analyze or no product without producers.

    Pros

Love the job and management. Been her for 8years!!!

    Cons

Job security is indefinite so watch out for that. Lots of layoffs

    Advice to Management

Don't expect so much out of every call we have. We aren't perfect

    Pros

I love the staff I work with and how hard they work at helping the students reach their goals and the support they have continuously given their faculty.

    Cons

Honestly, I have had no issues with our local campus. However, I know the university is going through a lot of changes which will affect everyone.

I have been working at University of Phoenix full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Focus on graduating students not just enrolling. Always trying to help students for the length of their degree program. No pay structure to push people to sign up that are not ready.

    Cons

Not all departments are on the same page. Too many systems that only work on certain browsers. Have to have multiple browsers open to do my job.

    Advice to Management

Allow each rep to use their style as long as they are always student focused. Should not have to be graded and marked down if all calls did not meet the typical standard. Not all students are the same and the flow does not match for each rep or student.

Fantastic team. I work with brilliant people who care about the projects. Management is flexible and accommodating. Pay is very decent too.
This is a great place to learn and grow.

I wish contractors could take advantage of free tuition.

    Advice to Management

Upper management should listen to experts further down the chain. You hired us for a reason and we're here to get the job done and help UoPX move forward.
