I worked at University of Scranton full-time

    Pros

The staff, faculty, and students make for a wonderful professional community. The University's benefits are very generous and salaries are competitive. Many opportunities to get involved or serve the university and/or local community.

    Cons

As with any institution, especially a Jesuit one, there are some entrenched practices that could be refined and updated. But the administration is receptive to input.

    Advice to Management

Be aggressive in promoting staff from within the university. Many people are dedicated members of the community and would like to grow with the school.
