    Friendly staff, easy to find opportunities within the University, good pay, good holiday allowance

    Cons

    Sometimes it feels like there's too much red tape involved and the bureaucracy slows down how you can proceed. Systems are always changing but sometimes this causes you to have to refill information and redo administrative work.

    Advice to Management

    Make proposed plans clearer to all and find more automated ways to change between new and old systems.

    Sheffield is a brilliant city with brilliant people.

    Cons

    The university is obsessed with trying to become a top Russell Group uni, which, like most of these wannabes, translates as a constant drive to intensify academic staff.
