Doesn't RecommendNegative OutlookDisapproves of CEOI worked at University of South Alabama Health System full-time for more than a year
Pros
I mean.. some of the staff nurses and CNA's are great.. they hire new nurses (because god knows they need any help they can get,) and the "teaching" opportunity is a great experience.. but trust me, the cons outweigh these "pro's."
Cons
Understaffed, unsafe patient ratios, lowest paying hospital, NO support from administration - they are the absolute worst people I have ever come in contact with. They hire more new nurses because any nurse that has experience knows their worth and leaves that toxic environment as soon as they possibly can. They put you on call without warning. They discipline staff members for using PTO even for family emergencies. If you don't feel safe with your patient load they do absolutely nothing about it.. They do not follow through with promised "bonuses" or "compensation" and there is absolutely nothing you can do about it because as mentioned earlier, administration is the biggest con of them all. I could keep going because this toxic horror of a place will really do a number on one's mental health - which I might add, they do not provide ANY consideration for mental health.. so, again, R U N. They don't deserve anyone.
