    Location (if you like LA) Compensation and benefits Institutional reputation and credibility Tuition remission for dependents Very diverse, stimulating environment and workforce.

    Cons

    Location (if you don't like LA) Cost of living Neighborhood around campus isn't most attractive (Relative) lack of public transit, though light rail line and multiple bus lines pass right by campus.

    Pros

    Flexibility of taking courses. There are no boundaries among disciplines. You can talk with people from all over the world.

    Cons

    Parking is very limited in the neighborhood. Living environment is not good near campus UPC. Gym is small and always packed.
