I worked at University of Southern Mississippi part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

There are so many pros! It was a wonderful environment and a great experience. It added value to the degree that I was working toward because it allowed me to interface with the professors more than just in class and I was able to tutor other students further cementing my own understanding of the material. I also gained valuable experience in a wide variety of settings as various opportunities presented themselves.

    Cons

The only con that I can think of is that the experience had to end.

I worked at University of Southern Mississippi (More than a year)

    Pros

The University does have a good structure to receive researchers from outside US. I also had access of some cultural and medical facilities, which was a very positive point.

    Cons

Additional cultural and sport facilities were only available trough extra membership. As usual in most colleges and universities, access to housing managed by the institution were expensive and not available for me (international researcher visitor).

    Advice to Management

Improvement in housing, sports, and cultural access to international visitors would probably not impact the institution budget and could attract more visitors, specially professional researchers and Professors.
