    There was a great team and culture. Hours were good and the pay competitive with room to move up in the company.

    Cons

    Because you are based on a university time line, there could be extremely busy times and quite quiet times.

    High quality education at a leading institution - especially at the mathematics department. Beautiful campus and great people.

    Expensive and quite hard to get to for people who don't live near the city

    Benefits such as SDOs (scheduled days off), parental leave, etc
    Training and Development
    Work-life-balance
    Visibility of EBA available on website

    Cons

    Bureaucratic processes which delay progress e.g legal, hiring, contracts
    Unprofessional "professional" staff and cumbersome administrative processes which do not appreciate the time and university's expectations on academic staff

    Advice to Management

    Simply systems, paperwork and processes. Ask 'how many signatures does this one document require to be auctioned successfully?'
